I just realised that I have not blogged properly for what seems like ages?! Well, the previous post was random. I was just too bored while doing the two essays, when Ms Chua told us that it was supposed to be only ONE essay today?!? Sheesh. I so wasted my time. I don't care. I'm just going to hand in the one on Carolyn Thomas even if it doesn't fit the bill, I mean, the criteria that Ms Chua had stated today. I DON'T CARE. I don't care if I fail, and I don't wish to care. SHEESH. I could have slept more! LOL. I'm feeling really tired these days. I hope it's not because of the chess competition.

Oh yeah! Saturday was the Chess competition! (Please do not mind me. I know my Grammar sucks. Sorry.) The 47th Inter-schools Chess TEAM Competition 2006! It's such a long name, but I had sort of memorised it after writing it five or six times. LOL. Rachel and I were put in the Secondart OPEN instead of the Girls Under-14 which we, as Sec 2s, are still eligible and also would have been MUCH MUCH easier for us. Fortunately, we were teamed up with two seniors, En Li and Tanya, the Pro-Chessnuts.

We had 11 points in total out of 24! Each of us had 3 out of 6 points except for Tanya who had 2. We improved TREMENDOUSLY! And in a much more difficult category. I don't know about the seniors. But I improved a lot. Last year, I had only 1 out of 5 and it was in Girls Under-14! WHEEEE. I'm so proud of myself. Egoness. ((:

Haha. But I have to admit that I played very badly for all of my openings. I kept blundering and I could not concentrate on the game. As a result, I had a hard time turning the tables, which I had only succeeded twice. o.O I won two, drew two, and lost two games. LOL. 222 is the block number of the block of flats just next to the one that I live in! x)

Our captain kept disappearing. She's so weird! :D Oh, Mrs Lee was so ill that she could not come to watch us play. I hope she is feeling better now. I didn't see her in school today, did anyone see her?

I can still feel post-Chess Comp symptoms now. Haha. Self-invented. Anyway, I had not enough sleep these few days and I had a terrible bus ride to Ngee Ann Sec in the morning. The temperature in the bus was so low. It was torturing. I forgot to bring my jacket along. Then when I got off the bus, the air was totally warm to my skin. After many alternating change in environment, air-conditioned, then not, air-cond, and then not. My headache has not worn off. It had subsided a little but not thoroughly. :( I hate it when my head throws a tantrum. Will you just be guai for once, head? LOL~
