thursday.

pw. slacking time again because:
1. we don't like to bring our laptops to school.
2. it's faster to complete our tasks individually, and then give individual feedback.
3. our project is so straight-forward, there's really nothing much to discuss.
it's funny to watch our classmates discuss their projects animatedly and work feverishly behind their macbooks or acer notebooks. and our group? stone. not only do we have no work at hand, we don't even have anything to discuss about. or rather, our so-called meetings were more like a mere announcement of the work distribution for the next few weeks, and are completed under 5 minutes; and our agenda never changes. it consists of one thing, and one thing only, that is: the delegation of work. kaiyun shall do this, phuong ha this, xinying this, patrick that. is that ok with everyone? are there any objections? oh whatever, just do it. and... meeting dismissed. LOL. i don't know whether this is considered dysfunctional or just imba. maybe we're just independent workers. maybe we just work faster. there's a myriad of possibilities; but then again, we got our jobs done. so, whatever. (:

but today was fun. we had vietnam and japan vs china debate, after mr cheong was done commenting on our lousy i & r's. chengyan was plain blur, and phuong ha was rather agitated by the disussion. more like she was exasperated by chengyan when she said really innocently: "huh but our textbooks said, our land is just big." LOL it's like vietnam had paid tribute to china for 1000 years, and she didn't know that. or it wasn't taught to her at all. i can't imagine the length of a thousand years. it seems like an eternity to me, or to anyone in fact. it's difficult to live to see past a century, let alone a millenium. (: no wonder phuong ha wanted to explode. it must have been a real blow on the country's pride. it's funny how we actually come to this topic. there's no link to our project on Hokkien culture and chengyan's on physical wellness. in fact, it's no where near. :D haha, and i think mr cheong really relish in suan-ing us, more specifically chengyan today. it's like his cheeky smile never leaves his face. evil evil (:

basketball. shooting was uber fun! it seemed like eons since i last played it. claudia is really ood at shooting; the ball always goes straight into the centre of the hoop, and goes through without even touching the board or the net. she was the only one who finished the whole routine by scoring at all the points. :D then we were playing games when my ankle gave way (again), so ended up with a scraped knee. i'm really glad we're at the basketball court. i don't want to slide on the smooth wooden floorboards of the hall, and relive those painfully huge peelings of skin :// so it's a just small superficial wound, and i continued to playing. vanessa called me 野孩子, almost immediately after i told her that my mum will call me that if she finds out. funny girl :DD then linying kept getting hit by the ball at the _____. she was really funny when she tried to verify that her _____ are ok. LOL. OH and bee is really good at intercepting balls. it's a wonder why she isn't poached by any sports team (: we had many accidents but all of us agreed that it's nice to work out! we laughed so much i wish we could play longer. so fun! ((: we should do so more often, because we most likely won't be able to do so next year! :x

after that, we tried the welfare room for games but decided that they are too boring. we went out to play three-man card games. then we decided to try out poison jack (taught to me by matthew a few days ago). it's really fun! we self-learnt a lot of strategies. shall play more of it. it's a good alternative to other games. i'm a little sick of the usual ones now ((:

i'm really inspired by the brickwalls. never knew we could look at it that way. kudos to dr. pausch. i think he lived a great life with his positive attitude :DD
