my 400th post (:

sunday.

ION orchard. my mum hasn't been to the ION yet, so we decided to explore it that day. it's really appalling how the shopping mall still looked pretty deserted early sunday afternoon, pretty much a stark contrast from, say, wisma atria, which was thronging with people. my mum couldn't help exclaiming about the high prices, which i had already expected. so we practically covered every single level before settling on having lunch at swensen's, because its prices are the same at every outlet on the island lol. but i'm glad to have my beloved fried fish with apricot sauce. yum yum ((:

on our way home, we met dad at the mrt exit by pure coincidence! didn't expect him to knock off so early (: then they kept raving about it being a miracle that i was the first to notice him by the top-up machine. LOL! like hey, i'm quite observant okayy! :D

the best part was when dad decided to take us out for a movie! the deadly tsunami is a must watch! i laughed throughout the first part. so for the most part, it made me believe that this will turn out to be pretty much of a comedy. then when the tsunami hit, all the sacrifices that the characters made for their loved ones were so touching, i cried. :p it's a really good mix of humour and tragedy. go watch, it's worth it :D
