saturday. meet sc mates :DD deborah and i practically explored the whole of plaza sing before beverly came. we waited rather impatiently outside secret recipe, having been extracted unwillingly from some gift shop, where deborah was caressing the teddy bears (small, medium or large) because they are just too cute and cuddly ((: we seriously thought beverly lost her way though she had come to ps more than a dozen times with us, because it was 15 minutes past since she told us she was at douby ghaut mrt. that's when she arrived. phew! no hide-and-seek looking for her today! HAHA we told her very frankly that we are relieved and had a good laugh over it :D i think the people dining at secret recipe thought we were nuts :ppp then we went to astons for lunch at cathay only to find that the restaurant had encountered some exhaust problem and smelled of gas :/ bad luck. was a little disappointed because deborah strongly recommended it. oh well, shall go next time then ((: we combed every level for restaurant or fast food joints. then we came across this place called the indulge. well, the name itself was pretty peculiar, then deborah very clearly pointed out after looking at the signboard at the entrance that it's copying astons. i'm not very sure about that but by that time we were all starving quite badly, so everything looked palatable enough. we couldn't care less and just entered and ordered our meal. :D nevertheless, it turned out that the food was good x) the potato salad was appetising. i love potatoes HAHA! we thought that having chinese-style soup in a rather westernised resaturant was a bit weird though, but it tasted good so we loved it all the same (: then deborah finished drinking her... tea? (i've no idea what cold drink i drank omg :x) before the main course was served. that's so deborah. LOL but after that, she couldn't stomach half of her seafood pasta, which is highly against the norm, then we said it's so not her. it was so contradictory, damn funny (: but she did look a little sick. hm. oh free ice cream for dessert! yummy :9 beverly was as usual shy on the topic of guys, and shut us up with her pet phrase: "let's talk about it another time." but we still managed to find out that she was out alone with a guy until 10 plus the previous night. it was purely platonic though. not her sweetheart. awww (: movie. we watched my sister's keeper. it was really touching and we cried one million times. it's funny how we didn't notice each other crying. maybe it's too dark. then after that we realised we were too busy crying that we barely finished half of the popcorn :p it's a good film on the whole. really tears-evoking and strong theme on family unit. they changed the ending though. cos if i didn't remember wrongly, anna was supposed to die in the end. but i prefer the movie ending where anna got to live, if not it's like, "if you fight for your rights, you have to die" which isn't very positive and inspirational, is it? ): scream. maze (: beverly and i were privileged to be the first two to be scared out of our wits :p haha i don't know when i turned into such a scaredy-cat, i was even scared of the all so familiar audi door lights switching on when we entered the audi x) it was super hilarious when we realised that we're scaring ourselves. but we managed to calm down a bit and adopt a laugh-y attitude, if not i don't think we'll have the courage to step into the maze and would've made a wasted trip. HAHA LUCKY :x the trail of lightsticks to the backstage in the audi was too long. there was no one manning that site. after the maze, we even thought of sneaking into the audi from another door so that we can scare people along that trail. added scariness. :p but then decided that it was damn bad, might really give people a real fright, because the councillors reassured us a million times that there's nothing along that trail. attacking people when they let their guard down really didn't sound very appealling after all. i thought the first ghost especially pissed with me cos when she asked me take her hand, i kept asking "are you serious?" on hindsight, it sounded really cheeky. kind of reminds me of dewei. lol. but at that time i was quite scared after scaring ourselves pointlessly for so many times before the maze and along the lightstick trail. i seriously thought she was going to do something to my hand if i really grabbed hers. but it turned out that she only wanted to lead us to the next room lol >< after that for the front part i only remember people scaring us from the back and we kept running. next stage, next room, where's that exit? how do i get to the next part?? nothing else HAHA i didn't even stop to see my surroundings properly, just kept screaming and dragging beverly along :p but i vaguely remember a mirror smeared with red paint in the changing room, and an altar and lots of incense paper somewhere along the way, and putting my hand into a box to touch something slimy and moving. eeks. then things started to get funny in the middle. cos the councillors came from the front and we began to recognise a few despite the makeup. i almost burst out laughing the moment i saw subha in her kimono. beverly later said she was also stifling her laughter HAHA :D then i kept saying i'm scared when i obviously wasn't or answered their questions too readily unthinkingly. trying very hard not to spoil the show for them but i think i still did. sorry! :x then warren obviously knew my name, but he still asked. then he shoved a scary photo of his "wife" into our faces. and i immediately said that she's beautiful. i don't know whether it's reflex action or something, ok it's weird to reflex like this but i can't find a better explanation for my reaction lol. anyway he looked exasperated and still asked me whether she's beautiful LOL!! it's really difficult not to laugh at points like these. then this guy tried but failed to grab us into the next room from the our backs, and he said rather deflatedly, "ahh nvm come over". haha funny(: but we've to admit that the make up for the others are good, we cannot really recognise them. so it was pretty scary. thought we dad a good scare. it was really worth the trip. ((: satisfied, we went around "promoting" it to those who asked us to go in first and tell them how it's like. didn't want to spoil it so we provided minimal details, or more like simply chanted that "it's worth it" thumbs up. LOL then we chatted and cam-whored at zen garden for damn long. :D can't post unglam photos here, she'll kill me. :p it was such a happy day! jeez, i love you guys <3 xinying ploughed through her empty list at 11:48 pm
