petaling street chinatown was rather uneventful. it was in fact dull, except that we had to jump out of the way of fully-loaded trolleys that come head-on in our direction. i have to admit that, that was pretty scary. and we also discovered that the area had modernised... a wee bit. well, at least there's shelter over that long cluttered street now. it's blue and wavy, shaped like sea waves. the modern-looking feel is partially incongruent to the rundown buildings left, right and ahead. but somehow, that feels like how chinatown should be like. and so be it(:

it wasn't long before we left, heading straight towards maharajalela monorail station. the route was really quiet. there wasn't a soul in sight when we passed by two rather old chinese temples, and the station was scarily dark and quiet. too quiet. if not for the cars zooming past on the road below, we'd think we're in some ghost town D: but we're glad we managed to catch a glimpse of the other side of kl, though i don't think we want to go back to that area any time in the future :p

off to berjaya times square again! this time for a more thorough swoop-around, of course :D [i'm brain-tired cos of bridge. so, to be continued] jeez, i'm like writing some series drama lol. ((:
