berjaya times again. if that's what you're thinking, you're probably right. there must be something of value to it for me to mention it again, isn't it? :D

so here's how it went: we started exploring the 5th level, because someone told us the indoor theme park was on the 5th level the previous day, and we didn't get to see it there and then because it was near closing time. it was really amazing how we got to level 5, to find that it looked nothing more like a normal shopping mall. no sign of roller coasters, no screams, no hint of excitement. what is this? some underground theme park hidden in some secret chambers? D: turned out that i wasn't that far off, because after walking around fruitlessly, one shopkeeper told us that the theme park was behind the row of shops that we se in front of us and we were like, how is that even possible?! anyway, by a turn of luck, we found the passage at one corner that led us there eventually. so won't you call that a secret tunnel? :P

anyway, we didn't get a close look because we couldn't go in, but the roller coaster looked awesome. complete with much steeper climbs and dives, coupled with a 360-degree turn, it's looked so much more exciting than the one we had at sunway! ahhh! HAHA. but i guess playing outdoors compensated for all the excitement! :D

after we were satisfied that we didn't miss anything much by skipping the indoors theme park, we resumed our shopping spree! (: berjaya times, too, have no lack of shoe shops. we were absolutely delighted, cos nice bags and wedges are found in abundance here!! we spent a truckload of time getting bedazzled by the myriads of colours and designs. i got a small bag for 19 ringgit. oh gosh, i feel so auntie, gloating over the bargains i picked up. but that bag was really nice! it's slightly smaller than the handbags i have, and is a cross between a sling and a handbag; one that i had wanted for a long time. so happy to get it :D but i didn't manage to get any wedges, though i very much wanted to overcome height issues *pouts* HAHA (:

here comes the drama. we bought tickets for mulan, cos mum and dad were enticed by the prices. 11 ringgit for a 7.45pm show on a weekend, that's half the price in singapore! we had 15 minutes to stroll around, then somehow, dad decided that he wanted to get a new pair of shoes/sandals/whatever (he wasn't even sure what he wanted :/). so mum stalked after him in the nearest shoe shop, constantly reminding him that there's 10 minutes left. 9minutes left. 5 minutes left! what are you doing?! HAHAHA (: my parents are so cute sometimes. but at the same time, i had this sense of foreboding that something's going to happen. 3 minutes left. nag-nag-nags. and my dad decided rather hastily that he wanted a red pair of shoes. then more to mum's annoyance (well, we weren't surprised! :p), the salesgirl ran out of the shop, turned a corner and disappeared. must have more than one shop in the building as usual. there's no way she's gonna make it back in less than 3 minutes :/

the clock struck 7.46 and we took off! in an attempt to hurry a bit, i took a quick step off the escalator... but not quick enough. dad stepped on my left slipper just as i lifted by left leg. and the slipper snapped! my new green polka-dot slippers :/// so i ended up hobbling to the theaters, my feet throbbing from the tension just now. sighh. and i wasn't making up that feeling cos i wasn feeling sore or anything from the broken slipper. it was really painful. when we reemerged from the darkness of the cinema, there was a red line on my left foot, where the slipper had given way. it's probably caused by the strain when i tried to pull my slipper from under my dad's feet with my left leg. ouch :x

well, i wasn't mad at him though. at least he didn't yell at us this time, like what he did earlier. probably knew he was in the wrong and wanted to make amends. he rushed back to the shoe shop. it was still open, fortunately (most of the shops would have said sayonara after 10pm :)). he bought a new pair of slippers (his size, of course) but i got to be the first user (: i shuffled back to the hotel in those oversized slippers, and we had a good laugh over it after that :DD

i've to give kudos to murphy (: yea, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. but here's the twist to it, anything that can be rectified will turn out right, as well ((: optimism outlives everything WHOOTS! :D
