first day of school!

it was matthew's bday. what luck to have your bday land on school re-opening day, lol. :x anyway, happy bday (: and i heard that our new gp teacher asked you to stay behind after gp lesson on tue to give you some pressie. coolios, she barely knew us. our first impression for mrs sarah ong is good (:

first day was quite a waste of time, cos we didn't do much. the class took more than half a lesson to get thermometers for temperature-taking (or rather, wait for them to be sold out. haha! so naughty! tsktsk) and farewell of mr ang was kind of boring :x but we had to line up along the road for a drive-past after that. that was pretty meaningful. mr ang was waving at us, and he had that surprised expression on his face. so funny (:

then bridge the whole day away. played for a record 6 hours under freezing conditions. i got a headache halfway (though it's probably cos i haven't woken up so early in a long while. my eye bags are getting really bad from late nights :/)

i p-ed li lan for one of the team matches. she was quite funny, cannot hide what she's thinking. so whatever i played, whether wrong or right, received instant affirmations. well it's not about right and wrong since she isn't able to picture what exactly is in my hand sometimes. but it's fun to watch her expressions. there's one time we defending, then when i decided to take out on the dummy's last trump, she suddenly put up her thumb and said "yes! play like that. very good very good" and went on to down the contract. lols! sometimes, i just feel like putting down a random card to watch her reaction (sounds like some teacher they were talking about yesterday :p quite sadistic x)).
