can't remember when i'd blogged the last time, but i believe it was more than a week ago :p alright updates! 7th jan day of living errata error #1: early morning bridge (: open house briefing had to land on that fateful day, so i left halfway during tm. wait was that the last board? i think it was, so no loss. but heard that i left you with a very diffcult 3nt to tackle. sorry p! but i wasn't declaring :p open house briefing. blimey, it couldn't have been more quirky. it begun 15 min late, that's ok (considering i was 10 minutes late :PPP). preston and co roleplayed different tour guides. xinyan was quite funny when she stuttered all the way (on purpose, of course). "students" ask, "so what are these (left and right wing)?" "left... and right lor, yea left and right" and then when introducing the places, she only read the first line on her script. the "students" she was leading around ended up reading the whole synopsis for each place for her. lol :D then the other girl (what's her name? stm! :X) was especially hilarious when she played an over-enthusiastic tour guide, who rattles on and on and ignores queries posed by the students. rofl! XD but well, the take-home message was clear, be passionate but don't overdo it. (: error #2: then the teacher tried to group us by birthdays. like o.O?? it caused quite an uproar amongst the students. without doubt, many tried to fake birthdays (though the teacher explicitly warned us not to, but i still heard many many shouting "so all of us february la. ok? ok!"). even we tried, yit khai wanted all of us to transform into feb babies too. then beehoon suggested joining random groups in 2s (less obvious and defiant like that. good idea, bee) (: but in the end, most of us remain rooted to our original positions. so the grouping failed. error #3: then we stoned and crapped for damn long, before realising that we were supposed to powwow ideas on possible questions. haha, so discussion failed. error #4: then before we realised it, the meeting ended. 45 minutes before designated time. epic fail :/ whatever. error #5: after lunch with bridge mates, yifei and i were supposed to hop on 66 at coro and pick phuong ha up from high school busstop. ha said she'll be at the busstop in 10 minutes. but my estimation was so bad that insisted on boarding the bus and missed phuong ha, cos she couldn't make it in time. sorry, my bad! :/ haha i need to learn time estimation, always too early or too late. not good :x but after that she was able to make her way to jurong east super fast, i suspected she Apparated there. haha! now, to chevrons! the entrance was really nice! it looks so grand, like some five-star hotel, it's hard to believe :D and our chalet unit was chenggai? all the chalet units had funny names, so nvm that. but problem is, how to find it? yit khai told us to walk straight into the pool, which made 3 of us go -.- but after wandering around the poolside, we found room chenggai directly across the pool from the entrance and could understand what he meant by walking into the pool.
